Obioma is an intersex and human rights activist, they are Founder and Executive Director of Intersex Nigeria (Center for Healthcare Development and Youth Empowerment). Obioma holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Management. In 2021, they authored a report on “Situation of Intersex Persons in Africa During Covid-19 Pandemic” this was a global intersex movement effort to understand the situation of intersex persons during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their activism and advocacy is to promote visibility, respect and recognition of rights of intersex people in Nigeria and Globally. The passion to change various issues and challenges around healthcare, SRH-R and wellbeing faced by intersex persons drives their mission at Intersex Nigeria.
Obioma also specialize in research, environmental conservation, and sustainability.
They belong to various national, regional and international Committees working towards improving the rights and wellbeing of intersex people.
Their hobbies include traveling, playing board games and reading.

Jennifer Aliu-Kadiri (She/Her)

Progams Officer
Jennifer designs programs and projects that addresses the needs of intersex persons. Her work helps to engages and challenges appropriate stakeholders on intersex human rights in Nigeria that would create enabling environment including favorable laws and policies that includes and protect intersex people. She also pushes for the creation of essential facilities that will benefit the overall wellness of intersex persons. She is a gender and mental health advocate and a certified journalist, who also consult as a communications strategist for grassroot startup NGOs. Her goal is to see a culture where no one is marginalized or stigmatized for just existing. She believes that storytelling is a creative form of creating sustainable systemic change that affects all areas of human existence and development.

Roseline is a skilled Finance officer with 5 years experience in diverse finance and accounting systems. She ensures smooth and effective finance management of Intersex Nigeria, ensuring adequate financial systems are in place for financial documentation, reporting, and analysis of programs and projects of the organization. She is passionate about analyzing and developing strong systems that are sustainable in catering the needs of profits and non-profits finance management. Roseline has a B.Sc. in Accounting and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria. Her hobbies include, reading and singing.

Eniola is a Communications Strategist with a passion for using storytelling and media to help influence perceptions and outcomes, to achieve advocacy goals. She holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and bachelor’s degree in English. She worked at Nigerian Breweries briefly in 2021 as the Corporate Affairs Advisor, she also worked with Media Panache Nigeria for three years, first as a social media manager and then as Lead Communications Executive. She has hosted events, produced, and written media content including podcasts, talk shows, and digital campaigns. With over 5 years of experience in corporate communications, Eniola manages the communication world of Intersex Nigeria for effective engagements and narrative change. Her hobbies include, travelling, painting, and reading.

Finance Officer
Tosin ensure the smooth running of financial activities in the organization. He gives accurate data analysis and advises management on financial position of the organization. Tosin is a graduate of Business Administration and Management from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun state. He hopes to see a world where intersex persons are included in services and programs that will enhance their existence and wellbeing.

Monitoring and Evaluation Intern
Aishat is a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Intersex Nigeria, she ensures learning processes and projects measurements beyond reporting, and also has a unique skills of how to identify areas that are outperforming or underperforming expectations for more adaptation or improvement. Aishat has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Diplomatic studies. She works and collaborates with the team on various projects.
